Gustavo Téllez-Girón Peón
Founder
Gustavo Téllez-Girón Peón has spent more than twenty-five years founding, financing and governing companies.
In 1998 he co-founded Water Capital in Mexico. Over two decades it became Latin America's leading lessor of wastewater treatment plants and brought in the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group, as a shareholder. He went on to co-found UMA (Universidad del Medio Ambiente), NuuPower and S-SAVE in Chile, served on boards, and spoke on financing sustainable infrastructure in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia.
In 2020 he established Donum Dei Capital in Barcelona. Its current chapter applies that experience to markets and technology: CSJ9, an algorithmic trading platform, and AlgoTraderPro, market intelligence for traders. He designed and built both himself, working alongside artificial intelligence — a new kind of company that he believes will reshape how businesses are built.
Donum Dei Capital brings these threads together: the judgment of experience, the leverage of frontier technology, and the discipline of capital. Its aim is to grow, and to put what it earns to work in businesses and projects that help humanity.
He is Mexican, lives in Barcelona, and works in English and Spanish.
